Pioneering Edge AI Applications in the Energy Industry

In support of the burgeoning movement toward minimizing carbon emissions, the global energy sector is witnessing a strong transition from conventional, fossil fuel-based power generation to renewable energy. Jiangxing Intelligence’s flagship offering is its IDEA product platform—the first-of-its-kind cloud-edge collaborative industrial-level intelligent system. The platform consists of product architecture, industry algorithm intelligence, edge cloud collaboration, and enterprise application development. The startup is committed to providing deep integration of edge computing and AI technology while focusing on the new generation of collaborative intelligent IoT products and services to enable effective real-time monitoring of clients’ operational assets. “Our ability to provide a one-stop-shop for heterogeneous hardware, AI models, and middleware software that support a wide array of edge computing applications gives us a competitive edge over other Chinese startups,” explains Xiaoyi Fan, CTO, Founder of Jiangxing intelligence.

The firm is also proving to be an asset to China’s ‘dual carbon’ policy—a national climate goal to reach carbon neutrality before 2060—through its strategy of credible monitoring and low-carbon control. The strategy’s efficacy is highlighted through research, which states that credible monitoring of carbon sensing capabilities allows transparency in carbon rights trading. Through this insight, Jiangxing Intelligence engineered a carbon metering system designed to help its clients manage and achieve their carbon emission goals.

Furthermore, the company supports the technological development of edge computing through interaction with the community present on EdgeX Foundry—a vendor-neutral open-source platform providing a common framework for industrial IoT edge computing—and is one of the top contributors on the platform.
